Absolutely not. Birchgate Center is a non-medical housing placement and referral service. We do not provide medical care, personal assistance, medication management, or around-the-clock supervision. Residents may independently arrange outside support services through licensed third-party providers.

Yes — every home in our placement network comes fully furnished, including all bedrooms and common living areas. Residents simply bring their personal belongings, clothing, and toiletries.

No. Residents are responsible for purchasing, preparing, and storing their own meals in accordance with the home's kitchen guidelines.

All services are arranged directly by the resident, their case manager, VA representative, or referring agency.

No. All services are delivered exclusively by licensed independent third-party agencies. Birchgate Center does not supervise, bill for, or manage any outside service provider.

Each home follows a structured zone-based cleaning schedule. Residents are expected to maintain their personal spaces daily and contribute to shared household duties on a weekly basis.

All visitors must sign in and out
Visiting hours: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM daily
No overnight guests permitted
Visitors are not allowed in private bedrooms
Residents are fully responsible for the behavior of their guests

Yes. We actively work with reentry coordinators, hospital discharge planners, VA representatives, parole and probation officers, and faith-based organizations to facilitate smooth, stable transitions into housing — provided the individual meets our independence criteria.

First offense — Verbal warning and discussion
