Who we Are
Birchgate Center specializes in providing affordable, stable, and judgment-free housing placements across Indiana for adults who face barriers in securing a home, including those with complex personal backgrounds, limited income, or difficult histories.
Through our trusted residential network, placements include fully furnished private and shared rooms, utilities, Wi-Fi, shared kitchen and laundry access, and a clean, structured, and respectful living environment.
We understand that the individuals you serve often struggle to find housing because of their background or income level. We want to change that. Our placements eliminate the traditional barriers — no three times the rent requirement, no large security deposits, no first and last month upfront, and no disqualifying background checks — so that stable housing becomes accessible to those who need it most.
Birchgate Center is a non-medical placement service. All residents placed through our network must be ambulatory, cognitively aware, and fully capable of managing their own personal care and daily activities without continuous medical supervision.
Birchgate Center does not provide medical care, case management, personal assistance, transportation, meals, or on-site staffing. We proudly connect residents to trusted third-party community organizations that offer these services when needed.

Our residential placements are built on stability, support, and affordability — eliminating the barriers that keep deserving adults out of safe housing, including excessive background checks, large deposits, and unrealistic income thresholds.

Birchgate Center provides housing placement and referral services only. All residents must be capable of independently managing their personal care and daily activities and must not require 24/7 medical supervision.
We connect every resident to a trusted network of third-party organizations offering home care, home health services, case management, transportation, meals, and on-site medical support when appropriate.
